Ms. Kakar heads the Mumbai office of the firm. She worked for about 24 years with a premier Central Government of India Undertaking - the National Textile Corporation (Maharashtra North) as Head, Legal Department. After an illustrious stint involving handling of significant and high stake matters for the Corporation, Ms. Kakar took voluntary retirement to join Kachwaha & Partners' Mumbai office.

The National Textile Corporation (Maharashtra North) has 18 mills in Mumbai and Western India region. As Head of Legal Department, Ms. Kakar oversaw a portfolio of about 2000 legal matters covering a wide span of corporate, labour, employment, commercial, debt recovery, property, tenancy, contracts, banking and other civil matters. In addition she has conducted several internal enquiries/ disciplinary proceedings.
